Olivier Fortier awarded the Guy-Carbonneau Trophy 2008-03-25

RIMOUSKI, Tuesday, March 25, 2008 – Rimouski Océanic forward Olivier Fortier was officially awarded the Guy-Carbonneau Trophy as the League’s top defensive forward tonight prior to game three of their playoff series versus the Drakkar.
The 18-year-old centre registered twenty-three goals, including seven in shorthanded situations, as well as twenty-three assists in sixty-seven contests. He was drafted by the Montreal Canadiens in the third round, sixty-fifth overall, in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Maurice Tanguay, a part owner of the club, presented the Trophy to Olivier Fortier.
