BOUCHERVILLE, Tuesday, December 23, 2008 – The Rimouski Océanic today added an important piece to the puzzle by acquiring all-star forward Logan MacMillan (89-07-05) from the Halifax Mooseheads.
The hosts of the 2009 MasterCard Memorial Cup traded center Guillaume Pelletier (91-02-09), a fourth round pick in 2009, a second round pick in 2010 as well as second and third round selections in 2011 to secure the Charlottetown native.
MacMillan, a first round pick of the Anaheim Ducks in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft, has recorded four goals and six assists in fifteen games so far this season.
In another move, the Titan sent Gabriel Côté (91-04-28) to the Voltigeurs for a seventh round pick in 2009 (via Val-d'Or).
The trade period ends on Thursday, January 8, at noon.
